Australian iTunes Store Open!

It’s official, iTunes Music Store Australia has opened it’s (cyber) doors in the Land Down Under!

Most people who have been following the iPod/iTunes trend over the past few years will agree it’s about fucking time they rolled out the Aussie version.

Tunes can be downloaded at a cost of $1.69 per song and $3.39 per music video. A whole album can be purchased for $16.99.

Cheaper then a walkin music store (by a hell of a lot in some cases)

However, songs by some of Australia’s biggest name artists like Delta Goodrem and Shannon Noll won’t be available to iTunes users because major label Sony BMG is yet to come on board.

Oh no! I will not be able to purchase any of the Aussie Idol winners - OH NO!@#@!$!$@!$%!@%@!%…. now name a decent band worth buying on Sony?
