iTunes Australia: First Impressions

With the launch of the Australian iTunes Music Stores comes a new category to 4WM - “iTunes”

iTunes Australia is alive
Enter into the world of the unknowen - the world of iTunes Australia

The first purchase
So I enter into the unknowen, my first purchase on iTunes - I went stright to Bernard Fanning (lead singer of Australian superstars - Powderfinger) new release and downloaded the EP for only $5.07 - now in stores this would be able $10….a saving of $4.93 (Thats 3 more tracks!)

Purchased tracks
Now a view of the current list of songs purchased thus far, bands consisting of: Bernard Fanning, Wolfmother, Bloodhound Gang, Sarah McLeod.

Thank you Apple, thank you for finally bringing the music store to Australia. Currently it dosn’t hold everything I wish it did (only one Dashboard Confessional album) but it’s a great start, I’m sure Sony/BMG will come on board very shortly they would be fools not to. To top of a great experience, songs don’t take a week to download on my crap modem connection.
