Bad Move Google

Anyone who knows me is well aware that I love everything Google - a little to much at times. When Gmail launched, it was better then christmas or birthdays, when they launched google maps it was simply heaven. Now they have launched “Analytics” and I’m scared.

Google purchases Urchin, a web analytics program which charges users over $500 per month to use.
Google drops the price to a cool $200 per month, all customers are happy and they get a load more.
Google changes the name to “Google Analytic”, make the price free - and no one is happy.

Being Google, and being free, I signed up as soon as I was able to, added the code required to 4wm and was told in 12hours I would be able to see stats appear. 36hours later and I am still being told that in 12hours stats will appear (the message hasn’t changed at all).

I am not the only one with the problems, I don’t know anyone that has Analytic working. To make matters worse, the customers who used to purchase the program can’t even get the script working!

Come on Google, you have really fucked things up this time, if the infustracture isn’t in place for what you must have knowen will be a massive hit - don’t release it in the first place.
