just googled dc marketing and came accross your site. i know the bloke behind it pretty well. I fear he will start the same scheme in other countries soon. is there any legal way to stop him, at least in australia? I can provide personal details and pictures, if of any help.

Here at 4wm we beleive any information we collect should be offered to the public domain. So if you have any information please leave a comment with everything you know, linking to any pictures etc. etc.

At 8.45am this morning i missed a call while having a shower. Tried calling the number back but it seemed to always be engaged. Finally got throught and guess what, I WON SOMETHING …. SPAM
The number originated from (03) 9540 5189

I too got a phone call from these buggers. (03) 9540 5189
I have been caught by them about 2 months ago, and I just got another “missed cal” from them.
This time I remembered the number & didn’t call them back
How can we stop this crap?

Hah! I just missed a phone call from these guys. I wasn’t about to call Melbourne at my own expense, so I was going to leave it and let whoever-it-was call back. Then I got curious and decided to Google the phone number, in case it was a business or something. And I found your site! Well done

yes they just got me too as a missed call! I always google numbers I don’t know, out of interest, lucky I came across this site!

I got a call from this number too. Incredible, as it came up as a missed call, and my phone was right next to me.
Thanks for posting the information, saved me a lot of hassles and cost! I’m an Optus 0402 number as well, maybe they have got a hold of an Optus list.
Bloody spammers… will they ever leave us alone?

Hey whaddya know. I’m an Optus 0402 customer too. My phone just made a short sharp noise and when I checked what was going on ….. missed call from that number.
I also wasn’t planning on ringing Melbourne for an unknown caller and found this site after Googling the number. Glad I did
