New ways to get to 4WiseMonkeys.com
Since we have had this massive hit spike we have been trying to find ways that we can keep people coming back to the website.
One of the biggest problems we have had is that from when this website first went live we have had a very difficuly domain name to remember….
We have been negotiating with the owner of wisemonkeys.com to sell us the domain… unfortunately we just can’t afford the purchase price at this point in time 
Since that’s the case I’ve actually weirded out a bit on the other monkies and bought two new domains to point to http://4wisemonkeys.com. These are http://wisemonkies.com (notice the inacurate spelling) and http://4wisemonkies.com (because I just know with all the media attention some people are going to spell it wrong!).
Please allow 24hours for these to propogate and then feel free to use them.

To be quite honest, 4wisemonkeys is really easy to remember, for me.
So I hope you don’t ditch the current domain. Although, of course, you could sell it to DC Marketing for millions of dollars.
Exploit those meta tags to catch misspellings via google etc.

Why not buy 4wisemonkeys.com.au seeing as some of the media are have already misprinted the site as being that, could happen again.

It would definately help us to rally people much easier… He is asking for $1,000USD since he is getting so many hits from people accidentily going to wisemonkeys.com instead of 4wisemonkeys.com

That would mean we would have to use one of our ABN’s to secure the domain. The downfall there is that should we press legal action and it backfired whomsoevers domain name we had used would be solely responsable.. Which isn’t really something we would like to do!

Not a chance that we will ditch this domain! It is our roots, our beginning, and it means a lot to us!

I am thinking of getting the .net’s and .org’s but when I think about it I also don’t think we are missing out on any traffic by not doing this

Hey Guys, Just thought you’d like to know that after watching your bit on A Current Affair, i went to my PC and typed http://www.fourwisemonkeys.com - good thing my kids weren’t standing behind me! Try it for yourselves!
I only hope more people got the right addy

Thanks Jason - A LOT of people have done this - We have sent an e-mail offering the domain owner a price…. Hopefully he takes it
