Well done guys! Found your little nook from my bible [The Age] - keep up the great work and I hope your curiosity never dulls.
It’s amazing it’s taking a group of normal people to do what the authorities claim they can’t./Applauds.

I read the article in the Age and it said something about your site being regularly attacked, so when the link didn’t work I thought it was something really sinister!! Anyway, I was so p!ssed off about getting a couple of calls from these plonkers that I sent an email into the ACCC.
The ACCC probably won’t do too much if it is a couple of people send emails, however if there are a large number it will probably make a difference. The complaints section of the ACCC link is as follows:

Dear Mr. Munn,
with all the (partially false) technology knowledge you disseminate here, you should be able to verify who attacked your server. DC Marketing never involves in illegal business practices, and a server attack would be illegal. We would be grateful if you were able to verify this ASAP to make clear to your blog, that DC Marketing has got nothing to do with the alleged attacks.
Also, we appreciate freedom of speech as much as we appreciate other signs of freedom in a democratic country - e.g. the opportunity to utilise innovative marketing methods.
It has to be stated, that most people are NOT offended by it - a clear sign for this is our huge customer base. How do you think we would be able to sustain business for such a long period, if we didn’t attract customers? For most people who decide NOT to be interested, it is in that case just a missed call they can hang up on after a millisecond if they don’t like it. If they like the offer - and as you are aware, we DO play out all the prizes - they go through the whole process, and most of our customers have been staying with us for a long time, due to the quality of our offers.
As we also stated in previous mails to you, as well as in the letter you post as a pdf on this site, we do NOT mind your blog, and it has its justification to be there. The only thing we mind is threats to our employees which evolve out of information you disseminate. You may be aware of the fact yourself, that you do not only attract the most peaceful and mentally healthy of people. Here are a few examples of previous postings on your blog:

“Thank you for the addrss the company in MLC tower. I have looked it and we should burry the scammers within the building, blow the hole fucking thing up. Quite a huge, one could even land a plane in there if you know what I mean and all problems are solved with DC Maketing”

Posted: 1 day, 1 hour ago at 9:08 amPersonally i like the Russian Mafia method. Find out the adress they are at, an kill their wife and children. Often very rewarding experience. Anybody have names and adresses of these people in Birmingham? no fee for Lawyers and so on. solves everyones proble i say. (but then i was always a little nuts).
If you cared, you would have found some of the comments of an unfair, derisory and defamatory nature which is inciting, inter alia, violence against the directors, officers, managers and even minor administrative employees (such as the lady who collects the mail) of our company.
The thing we always asked you to do - without threatening legal action in the first place - was to take care that you help to protect illegal action and/or violence. PLease kindly reconsider this on your blog, thank you.

Its funny how these DC marketing folks justified their so call over inflated prizes of ringtone, much like those Nigarian scam, that most of us often hope those marketing company drop off the face of the planet when they call our home to offer stuff to buy or annoy us to change our plans for current services. I guess these SCAM people, and yes, DC MARKETING is a SCAMMER, just like all those other low lifes, make claims that “oh our customer are sooo happy with us. Yes we are sccessful with a popular large customer base - which they also scam!” “Our ringtone does worth 40 bucks… “. These allegations have no prove and so they can say whatever they want. Next thing they will say is their company invent the spacecraft that goes to the moon! And their so call 40 bucks worth of ring tone can be produce next to nothing.
In my opinion as a high school council, I see many of my students fall into the evil hand of sucking almost 20 bucks of their pocket money to DC marketing so call - “not a scam”. Most of these school kids did not know what they are entering into this 190 number, and simply blindly follow the 15 minutes instructions at almost $3 a minute. That useless ringtone and wall paper pack just cost them $30 bucks. In my opinion:
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!
DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM! DC MARKETING = SCAM!Since I am just a blogger, I also reserve freedom of speech! (as DC marketing blog above pointed out) I have the freedom to say whatever I want. And my opinion does not represent any of 4 Monkey’s. I would like to thank 4 Monkey’s doing a great jog. What a fantastic article on the age about you. I have made 2000 copies since Friday and pass it on the related infromation to 9 highschools. And ask them to do the same to pass it on. I will be doing at a rate of 1000 copies per day and distrubuting to all the school to educate the kids, and telling them what DC marketing really is. Do not dial the 190 number. It will take time to educate, but someone got to do it against the evil so call MARKETING PROMOTION COMPANIES.
Although I would like to see what goes around comes around, but this method takes too long and by then, our poor community would have been suck dry. So I am making a start. Awarness to all is the only way to combat these blood sucking dry business evils.
thank you 4 wise monkeys (to all 7 of you heros) for helping general australian to take back the justics in our own hands.
