Two VERY active numbers…

Yesterday I reported that we were receiving tons of e-mail from you guys about new DC Marketing numbers (click here for link)… Well, as it turns out - All of you were reporting only two differant numbers.

I have called both of these back, and yes, the same old Simon is still around!

The two numbers are (03) 8102 9563 and (02) 8404 2293. I have also split the DC Phone scam page (click here for link) up into old numbers and new numbers to make it easier for newcomers coming to the website.

Media: ABC The World Today

Hello again! I just finished an interview with Conor from The World Today (612AM) about DC Marketing and Call-Australia which should be aired at 12:00 lunchtime today! As a reminder the Triple J interview (click here for link) should also be on ‘the hack’ this afternoon providing that their lawyers approve the story.

update: This went to air and was almost as good as planned! Unfortunately a lot of our finidngs couldn’t be mentioned as their legal team rejected it (it isn’t all information in the public domain)…. We think this is also the same reason why the interview for ‘The hack’ is taking so long to come to air. - skelm

DC Marketing posts on 4wm again…

After all of the recent media attention that we have been receiving I. Gruber of DC Marketing (we can tell that it is I. Gruber making these posts due to his IP address) has chosen to post on 4 Wise Monkeys again.

It is worth mentioning that when interviewed by SMH.com.au DC Marketing denied reports that it was them sending us the request for content to be taken off the website and such. It is however the same IP Address that did these things that is now posting these comments on 4 Wise Monkeys. Draw your own conclusions from that :)

Media: Triple J Interview

We have received word today that skelm and I will be interviewed by Triple J in the upcoming days. At the current time we are not 100% sure when the interview will air, though we are asuming it will air during their show "Hack" 5:30pm weeknights.

Earleir in the week, hack hosted a segment in regards to this scam which you can download from their website, due to the huge responce they received they have asked up to speak up on air about the situation - an offer we can not refuse!

China has a new enemy

in regards to interweb censorship.

We all know the stories floating around the USA congress throwing pointless bills around the place about who controls the internet and what not. And to get to the point…

New Senate Telecom Bill Stays the Course on ‘Net Neutrality’

Essentially, some tool thinks it’s a good idea to legally allow telecommunication companies decide how fast you get content delivered, regardless of the server that is hosting it and your connection, and more so on how much the operator of said website pays them.

Sure it starts off with just preferential treatment of websites, and it grows from there.
If this keeps up, America will most likely over-take China in regards to internet censorship
One day American’s are going to wake up and the only thing they’ll be able to access is government propoganda.
